A digital pen is provided to input information of absolute coordinates of a subject to a computer through wireless communication. A digital pen(100) comprises a pressure sensing unit(103) sensing pressure applied through a pen point(101). A deciding unit validate or nullifies data obtained by a light receiving element(102) according to the pressure sensed by the pressure sensing unit. The decision unit validates the data obtained through the light receiving element if the pressure sensed by the pressure sensing unit is larger than predetermined pressure. The decision unit nullifies the data obtained through the light receiving element if the pressure sensed by the pressure sensing unit is smaller than predetermined pressure. A pressure controlling unit controls predetermined pressure which is a reference for validation or nullification. |
