A reserved recording method of a broadcasting program and a method thereof are provided to display the information about broadcasting programs which enable and disable a reservation recording operation, consequently a user conveniently sets up reservation recording without comparing the broadcasting information of several broadcasting programs. An STB(Set-Top Box) displays a recoding confirming information on a display device(S3) by responding to a reservation recording confirmation request signal(S1). A user selects one broadcasting program or transmits reservation recording information based on the recoding confirming information to request a reservation recording of the broadcasting program which is to be recorded(S5). The STB judges based on the recording confirming information whether or not the selected broadcasting program can be recorded by reservation(S7). If not, the STB displays the change information on the display device to record a broadcasting program by reservation(S9).
