摘要 <p>The invention pertains to measuring technology and particularly to the methods of product control and diagnostics by method of acoustic emission (AE). The offered method can be applied during fatigue cyclic load testing of various constructions with the aim to evaluate the kinetics of fatigue crack growth as well as when implementing the control and diagnostics of technical state of cyclic operation plants. The evaluation of fatigue crack growth in constructions is carried out in the process of their cyclic intermittent load testing. In the course of testing, the values of AE signal level and load are synchronously recorded. In addition to that, the position of AE signal in each fatigue cycle is determined. The point when the crack has reached the target size is evaluated on the basis of the stabiliztion results of both the level of AE signal intensity and the position of AE signal in the fatigue cycle.</p>
