A device and a method of sharing contents between devices are provided to enable the second device to transmit a contents list corresponding to a time stamp to the first device if the first device receives the time stamp from a user, thereby enabling the user to select contents. A time synchronizer(450) performs time synchronization with at least one different device. When the time synchronization is performed with the third device, a contents information generator(470) generates a contents log about at least one contents and a contents history. If a time stamp is received from the third device, a contents searcher(460) searches one contents and generates a contents list including the contents log. A transmission controller(420) transmits the contents list to the third device. The transmission controller provides one or more contents which it is requested from the third device to the third device.
