SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE WITH VIDEO CALL

A system and a method for transmitting a multimedia message with a mobile terminal in which the receive function of the multimedia message is not mounted by using the image call are provided to transmit the multimedia message to the mobile terminal without a multimedia message reception function. A home location register(120) stores the caller identifier of a received terminal(170). A multimedia messaging service center(130) is generated from an originating mobile(100). The multimedia message service confirms whether the subscription terminal includes a multimedia message receive function through a home location register. A multimedia message convert server converts the multimedia message received from the multimedia message service into moving-picture data. A short message service center produces the message notification of incoming call message that informs the multimedia message convert server that the multimedia message is received.
