A dielectric composition for a plasma display panel having thermal expansion coefficient and dielectric constant suitable for glass substrates is provided to produce high light transmission of dielectric layer without crystallization at a temperature of 600°C or less. A dielectric composition for a plasma display panel having thermal expansion coefficient and dielectric constant suitable for glass substrates comprises 15-30 mole% of PbO, 10-20 mole% of BaO, 20-50 mole% of B2O3, 10-30 mole% of SiO2 and 0-10 mole% of one or more oxides selected among ZnO, Sb2O3, Bi2O3, TiO2 and Al2O3. The plasma display panel(PDP) has perpendicularly and horizontally arranged discharge cells to display letters or figures by discharge-radiating cells located in necessary places. |
