An environmentally friendly gas insulating switchboard having a function of indicating wear of a switch contact of an opening/closing device is provided to prevent the degradation of dielectric strength and maintain environmentally friendly insulation by using nitrogen gas or compressed dry air as electrical insulation media. An environmentally friendly gas insulating switchboard comprises an automatic section opening/closing device(13), a lightning arrester(15), a transformer-converter protective power fuse(17), a power receiving transformer-converter(19), and an automatic section switch driving unit(5). The automatic section switch, which is arranged inside/outside of a gas insulation case(25) filled with insulation media, is made of a vacuum opening/closing device(13a) including an operating rod(13b) in which a contact sear limit indicator(13c) is marked with painting. The gas insulation case has an observation window(25a) allowing the user to confirm the position of the contact wear limit indicator from outside and determine the replacement time of the vacuum opening/closing device. The insulation media filled in the gas insulation case include nitrogen gas and compressed dry air. |
