<p>A display device and a control method thereof are provided to have only one directional sensing lines instead of bidirectional sensing lines, thereby relatively improving an opening ratio. A plurality of sensing lines(140) is extended in the first direction on the first insulating substrate. The sensing lines are arranged at a predetermined interval. The second insulating substrate faces the first insulating substrate. A plurality of sensing spacers is formed on the second insulating substrate. The sensing spacers are electrically contacted with the sensing line by external pressure. When the sensing spacer contacts with at least two among the sensing lines, a sensing controller(530) detects a resistance value of a contact closed loop formed by the sensing spacer contacted with two sensing lines. The sensing controller detects a location of the first direction of the contacted sensing line.</p> |
