MOBILE TERMINAL CAPABLE FACE RECOGNITION AND METHOD FOR FACE RECOGNITION THEREOF

A terminal and a face recognition method thereof for easily performing the face recognition through the additional information such as a photography time and a place are provided to perform face recognition by using color factor information with the photography time information or the photographing position information. A video color deflection(20) processes an image transmitted from a camera part as digital video data. A face recognition/color element processing unit(40) is the processed digital video data. The face recognition/color factor processing unit gives the inherent characteristic value toward the color factor of the video data region. A controller(80) generates photographing position information and color factor information about video data processed in the face recognition/color factor processing unit. The photographing place information and color factor information are compared about video data in which the controller is processed at comparison image data and video color deflection.
