The hose (1) has an external layer (2) having irregular thickness in a circumferential direction and in a longitudinal direction, where the external layer presents multi-colored appearance with stripes (3) longitudinally extended and degraded in dye. The external layer has color that is different from color of an underlying layer of the hose. The external layer and the underlying layer are made of thermoplastic materials such as PVC. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a hose.
