NUMBER-OF-PEOPLE DETECTING DEVICE AND ELEVATOR

A number-of-people detecting device and elevator is provided to accurately estimate the number of persons in the closed space, based on the number of getting-on people and the number of getting-off people. The integrated metrology(11) measures the data for estimating the number of getting-on people in the closed space and the number of getting-off people. The getting-on-and-off people estimating means(12) estimate the number of getting people based on the data measured by the estimating unit. The people existence and nonexistence estimating means(13) estimate people existence and nonexistence based on data measured by the estimating unit. The present people estimating means(14) receives passenger existence and nonexistence estimation result of the estimation result.
