A device to prevent a bath from overflowing comprises a hollow tube 1 that is detachably attached to the drain hole of a bath via prongs 2 at one of the tube that engage with holes in the baths plughole 3. The mouth of the tube may be angled or vertical and provides an outlet when the bath water reaches a certain level, thereby preventing the bath from overflowing. Preferably the tube has a seal 4 around the circumference of the tube above the prongs to prevent water leaking past the tube into the drain hole. The tube may be of a fixed length or telescopic. |
