The control 64 receives the clearance information from the probe 56 to determine a centre of the clearance information CA, and compare the distance between an actual centre of the clearance information CA and an expected centre of the clearance information should there be no imbalance C1, the distance being taken as a magnitude of imbalance of the rotor. |
