A method and an apparatus for preventing a collision of a moving body are provided to prevent a collision between vehicles by measuring a distance between moving bodies. A method for preventing a collision of a moving body comprises the following steps: a step for periodically broadcasting an RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indication) signal through a distance measuring channel(201); a step for requiring a safe function execution(203); a step for receiving the RSSI signal and measuring an RSSI after scanning the distance measuring channel(205); a step for predicting a first connection required time by using a measured RSSI(207); a step for setting an adjacent terminal and a distance measuring communication link(209); a step for receiving a distance measuring signal, a speed, and an acceleration through the distance measuring communication link(211); a step for calculating a second connection required time and a distance between terminals by using the distance measuring signal(213); a step for generating a warning according to the connection required time(215); and a step for determining an extinction of a communication link(217). |
