A portable terminal is provided to improve a user interface environment for multitasking by outputting plural kinds of visual information at the same time. A terminal body includes a wireless communication module(141), display units(113,213) and operation units(116,117). The wireless module independently performs a wireless communication function, and a connection type display(200) can be connected to the terminal body. Through the control from the terminal body, the connection type display outputs visual information. The display units include touch sensors for touch input, and the connection unit connects the terminal body with the connection type display electrically.
