An image display device is provided to automatically correct a white balance according to a pass of a time. An image display device comprises an OLED(Organic Light Emitting Device)(11), a current control part(12), a current setting part(13), a user interface(14), an instruction decoder(15), an instruction register(16), an optical sensor(17), and a white balance correcting part(18). The OLED emits a light, and displays an image. The current control part provides a data signal for displaying the image to the OLED within a peak current value limit set in the current setting part. The OLED changes luminance according to a size of a current supplied from the current control part. The current setting part sets a peak current value, and controls a drive of the current control part. The interface receives an instruction from a user. The instruction decoder decodes a user instruction inputted through the user interface. The instruction register controls the current setting part according to the user instruction decoded in the instruction decoder. The optical sensor senses a color coordinate of a light emitted from the OLED. The white balance correcting part compares a color coordinate sensed in the optical sensor with a color coordinate set into a white balance value.
