APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ERROR CORRECT, 3D POINTING DEVICE USING THE SAME

An apparatus and a method for correcting error, and a 3d pointing device using the same are provided to effectively correct noise of a sensor itself, measurement error and error due to a mistake of an operator. A data collecting module(110) collects data to calculate an actual data changing amount. An estimation module(120) calculates an estimation data changing amount from previous data changing amounts of data that the data collecting module collects. A determining module(140) determines whether the corrected data has error by comparing an absolute value about the difference between the actual data changing amount and the estimation data changing amount with a variable critical value. When the absolute value is bigger than the variable critical value, the determining module returns the estimation data changing amount to a data changing amount.
