A vertical shaft type wind plant is provided to have the simple structure as a rotor having a drag blade and an upward force blade connected in one body is mounted. A vertical shaft type wind plant comprises an axis of rotation(40) supported with a housing(20) and a rotor(30) rotating with the wind force. The rotor includes: drag blades(32,32') whose cross-section shape is a letter V shape, and arranged along the columnar direction of a hub in regular; and a plurality of upward force blades connected to the outer end of the drag blade. The blades have a cross-sectional shape of an airfoil type and a front edge faces the rotational direction.
