DRIVING CIRCUIT FOR FRONT ELECTRODE OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

A circuit for driving a front electrode of a plasma display panel is provided to simplify a circuit configuration by switching a lamp waveform and a square wave voltage through one switching device. A circuit for driving a front electrode of a plasma display panel comprises a control signal input terminal, a lamp waveform ON signal input part, a lamp waveform output control circuit part, a square wave ON signal input part, a lamp waveform-square wave switching device, and a pull down circuit part. The control signal input part supplies a control signal to the lamp waveform ON signal input part or the square wave ON signal input part. The lamp waveform ON signal input part generates a gate voltage waveform for controlling the lamp waveform-square wave switching device. The lamp waveform output control circuit part controls the gate voltage waveform supplied to the lamp waveform-square wave switching device by the lamp waveform ON signal input part. The square wave ON signal input part generates a gate voltage waveform for controlling the lamp waveform-square wave switching device. The lamp waveform-square wave switching device outputs a square wave and a lamp waveform. A drain terminal of the lamp waveform-square wave switching device is connected to an input terminal of a lamp waveform voltage and a square wave voltage. A source terminal of the lamp waveform-square wave switching device is connected to an output terminal of the lamp waveform voltage and the square wave voltage. The pull down circuit part stably performs a control voltage.
