A stapler is provided to bind a fixed amount of paper through the punched part of the paper while punching the paper. A stapler comprises a support(20), and a binding unit(30) which is pivotally coupled with the support at one side to bind a fixed amount of paper placed on the support. The binding unit binds the paper through the punched part of the paper while punching the paper. A spring is installed on the coupling part between the binding unit and the support. The binding unit consists of an upper pushing part(31), a lower pushing part(33), and a punching and binding part(40).
