An iron notch jet blocking device of the high temperature furnace is provided to reduce the equipment trouble and work load. An iron notch jet blocking device(10) of the high temperature furnace comprises a collection box(11) of the container shape which is installed on the fixing cover of the main melting way, and of which one side is comprised of an opening(12). A refractory(13) is placed at inner side of collection box. A cooling jacket(14) in which the cooling water is circulated is provided inside one side at least of collection box.
