A method for preparing hydroxy acrylates is provided to secure high yield and high purity without the generation of by-products by injecting one kind of a compound instead of an inhibitor and diester inhibitor. A method for preparing hydroxy(alkyl)acrylate obtained by reacting an acrylic acid compound with alkylene oxides in the presence of catalysts is characterized by injecting a compound represented by the chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, R1 is C6~C12 aromatic ring which contains or does not contain N, an aromatic ring having a heterocycle which contains or does not contain N, or CnH2n-1 aliphatic hydrocarbon (wherein, n is an integer of 1~20); R2 is hydrogen or C1~C6 alkyl group; and x and y are an integer of 0-3 and 1-3 respectively, in case R1 is an aromatic ring.
