A wire rope which has an independent wire rope core (IWRC) and outer stran ds laid around the core. This wire rope has an improved fatigue life when the outer wires of the core and of the outer strands are galvanized. The wire rope may be eithe r fully or partially impregnated with plastic, if desired. |
