A zonal diffractive multifocal intraocular lens is provided, which uses a reflecting area for providing the refraction focusing force and a diffraction region for providing two diffraction focusing forces. A zonal diffractive multifocal intraocular lens includes an optic comprising a center reflecting area(18) which has the front(14) and back(16) and provides one refractivity focusing force and a diffraction region(20) which is arranged in one of the surface and provides the local and long distance diffraction focusing force. The front and back include the center reflecting area. The diameter of the center reflecting area of the front and back are about 0.5 - 2mm.
