A vertical transition substrate having compensation capacitor and method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the characteristic of insertion loss and return loss by setting the pad connected to the ground plane of vertical signal via. The pad(301) is formed in the dielectric layer of the lower position corresponding to the vertical signal via. The vertical ground vias(302) electrically connects the ground plane with pad. The substrate is formed with the low temperature co-fired ceramic substrate. The second dielectric layer formed on the pad is laminated on the first dielectric layer having the ground plane. The third dielectric layer of the first conductive pattern is laminated to on the second dielectric layer. The second conductive pattern and fourth dielectric layer are formed on the upper part of the third dielectric layer.
