GENERATOR START-UP METHOD AND APPARATUS

A generator start-up method and apparatus are provided to control the load of a generator safely by starting the water supply pump without manual operation. A generator start-up apparatus(100) comprises a main control unit(110) which drives auxiliary equipment and controls the start of a generator by regulating the auxiliary equipment, a turbine system, a water supply system and a fuel system, a water supply control unit(120) driving the water supply system under the control of the main control unit in order to supply the water to a boiler, a fuel control unit(130) driving the fuel system under the control of the main control unit in order to supply the fuel to the boiler, and a load control unit(140) which regulates the auxiliary equipment, the turbine system, the water supply system and the fuel system under the control of the main control unit to obtain the rated output of the generator.
