A part management system is provided to determine whether part information of an individual part coincides with part information made for purchasing the individual part, thereby preventing wrong part ordering. The first information storage unit(110) inputs lower configuration information in designing a product. The second information storage unit(310) inputs individual part information about the product for the assembly of the product. Personal computers(120,320) compare the lower configuration information of the first information storage unit with the individual part information of the second information storage unit, stores the comparison result in a comparison program to determine whether to coincide with and checks part information not coinciding with the comparison result by the comparison program. |
