An apparatus and a method for providing advertisement connected with contiguity region of the road in a system for providing traffic information of a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) base are provided to offer advertisement information connected to a road link ID of the road. A TSP(Telematics Service Provider)(20) converts TPEG data encoded to TPEG protocol into DMB data through a DMB broadcast channel. An advertisement information offer server(50) obtains the advertisement-information ID according to each advertisement-information. The advertisement information of advertisement-information ID is converted into DMB data. A road link information and advertisement information connection server(40) generates advertisement information connection table with the road link ID. A DMB center(60) receives and transmits the DMB data. |
