A ball vale for efficiently controlling the flow rate of the fluid is provided to reduce the noise and the power consumption in the automatic flow control of the valve using a motor. A ball valve looked comprises a ball(20) and a packing(40). The ball is positioned in a central part of a flow channel of a body(10). The ball is rotated with a driving unit driven with the driving force of a steering wheel(30) or a motor. A cutout groove(21) is formed in a part corresponding to the half of the ball. The one-side end of the cutout groove is letter V shape. The cutout groove of the ball has a curve incline and the other side end has "U" form. An O-ring(50) is mounted on a flow channel central part of the body.
