An array speaker system and an implementing method thereof are provided to control and output the optimum sound according to the frequency band by controlling the sound source signal according to the sound source characteristic of the group. A group setting unit(315) sets a plurality of speaker combinations included in an array according to the predetermined control factor to one group. A signal allocating unit(320) divides the input signal into one or more sound source signals according to the control factor and allocates the divided signal to the set group selectively. A sound source control unit(330) controls the sound source signal through speakers corresponding to the group according to the sound source characteristic of the group. A signal output unit(340) outputs the controlled sound source signal through the speakers corresponding to the group.
