<p>The netting guide system includes guides (14) for the edges of an upper net portion, which guide it from the feed location in between the two net portions where the bulbs (K) are received from the dosing device, to the guide surface (6) for directing the lower net portion (5), the bulbs on top of it and the upper net portion (9) covering the bulbs towards the ground (B). The machine comprises a mobile frame (1), a supply and dosing device (2) for delivering the bulbs, and a system for guiding at least two overlapping net portions towards the ground. The guide surface has a convex-curved shape and is movable. An independent claim is also included for method for planting bulbs or tubers using this machine, comprising supplying a first net portion to the guide surface; supplying a second net portion to the guide surface so that it rests on top of the first net portion; dosing bulbs into a space between the net portions, immediately before the guide surface; and planting the bulbs in the soil while they are clamped between the two net portions. The edges of the second net portion are held as it travels from the dosing location to the guide surface, to prevent the edges of the net moving inward towards each other.</p> |
