The present invention refers to a mixture containing different ingredients consisting of at least starch and plant fibres, intended to be used for domestic animals, preferably as "cat litter" to cats, and to be laid out on a support, e.g. a litter tray, in order to absorb preferably urine and evacuation. The starch consists at least to some portion of a special potato starch, here called specially potato starch, produced by potato starch, which has been mixed up with water, treated mechanically, heated to near 1000C in a first drying period and thereafter laid out as a thin layer on a support and during a second drying period been dried at a temperature exceeding 1000C for constituting a film, which has been milled down to a coarse powder or granulate. |
