<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the input error of an expiration date without decreasing operability. <P>SOLUTION: A label printer prepares an indication label which is attached to a predetermined article and indicates a name of the article and an effective date, and comprises: an unvolatile memory 74 to store the minimum value and maximum value of effective days of the article, as minimum days and maximum days for each article; an input key unit 21 which receives an input of the name of the article to which the indication label is attached and an initial date in reckoning the effective date and the effective date of the article; a CPU 71 to read out the minimum days and maximum days which correspond to the name of the article inputted from the input key unit 21, from the unvolatile memory 74; and a printing unit 23 to prepare the indication label of the article in accordance with the control command from the CPU 71, wherein the CPU 71 controls the printing unit 23 from a result obtained by comparing the date which is obtained by adding the read out minimum days to the inputted initial date in reckoning and the date which is obtained by adding the read out maximum days to the initial date in reckoning, with the inputted effective date. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
