<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a driver from feeling odd by giving the driver an appropriate acceleration feeling in response to an acceleration operation, in a drive force output mechanism for outputting a rotary driving force of a rotary driving source via a torque converter. <P>SOLUTION: In the driving force control device, after an increase in a turbine torque with an acceleration operation by an accelerator pedal, if a decrease in the turbine torque not corresponding to the acceleration operation is generated, the decrease is accurately detected using computation based on an estimated turbine torque (S104-S114) (Yes in S116), an output torque of an engine is increased with an increase in an amount of intake air (S118).
