<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use permission/non-permission decision device and a use permission/non-permission decision method for properly performing the use restriction of a function. <P>SOLUTION: This use restriction device is provided with an information management means for managing association information of a user with another user who permits the user to use an image forming apparatus; and a use restriction means for inquiring of the other user associated in the association information about the permission/non-permission of use by the authenticated user concerning the use of the image forming apparatus, and for permitting the authenticated user to use the image forming apparatus when input showing the permission of the use of the image forming apparatus is performed by the other user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
