<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for preventing a photoreceptor drum from being influenced by temperature and humidity on the outside of an apparatus body with simple constitution even if an opening/closing cover near the photoreceptor drum is opened for maintenance such as jam removal, and removing moisture on the surface of the photoreceptor drum, thereby providing a clear image. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with: a conveyance path 5 on which paper P is conveyed on the back side of the opening/closing cover 6 leading to the inside of the apparatus body 1A and freely rockable; the photoreceptor drum 3 on the side opposite to the opening/closing cover 6 with respect to the conveyance path 5; a drum cover 7 covering the photoreceptor drum 3 by moving to the conveyance path 5 side of the photoreceptor drum 3 when the opening/closing cover 6 is opened, while retreating from the conveyance path 5 side of the photoreceptor drum 3 when the opening/closing cover 6 is closed; and a planar heater 14 on the surface of the drum cover 7 facing the photoreceptor drum 3 to be protected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
