PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nameplate thinned as a whole, capable of evading troubles that the nameplate may be dropped off due to touch with an arm, an article or the like and a plate surface is inclined forward and can not be easily observed, capable of improving amusement, interest and variety, and especially in emergency or the like, capable of more effectively making surrounding people turn attention to the nameplate. SOLUTION: For constituting a nameplate 1 provided with a nameplate body part 2 having a light transmission part at least on one part and a light emitting part 3 for radiating light to the light transmission part, the nameplate is provided with the nameplate body part 2 formed by one transparent or translucent plate material M with a prescribed thickness and having a prescribed shape and the light emitting part 3 using one or more light emitting elements 4 capable of radiating light from a peripheral part 2s other than the front and rear plate surfaces 2f, 2r of the nameplate body part 2 to plate surfaces 2f, ... in a parallel direction.
