PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make streaks caused by split driving invisible. SOLUTION: The inkjet head is provided with a plurality of inkjet nozzles Z arrayed in one direction as nozzle arrays, a plurality of ink chambers C which are made separately to communicate with the nozzles Z and adjacent to each other through respective partitions, and an ink discharge mechanism 11 which deforms the partitions 16 for obtaining an ink discharge pressure corresponding to the ink chambers to be driven by the split drive adapted to drive in a time sharing manner the three ink chambers C contained in each of a plurality of ink chamber groups which are arranged by sectioning the plurality of ink chambers C and each comprise the three ink chambers C successively arrayed along the respective nozzle arrays. The fourth to n-3th nozzles respectively corresponding to the ink chamber groups inward from the two outermost ink chamber groups have a common nozzle diameter and the first-third nozzles corresponding to one of the outermost ink chamber groups have different nozzle diameters so as to discharge ink droplets in the amount equivalent to the average amount of the ink droplets discharged by the split drive from each of the fourth to n-3th nozzles with the common nozzle diameter.
