The feeding device (1) has adhesive bonded print material coming out of an adhesive binding device, as part of a road book with a horizontal conveyor belt or accumulating roller conveyor (32). A transfer conveyor belt (34) is connected to the horizontal conveyor in feeding direction, by which the print materials are delivered on a drying device (2). A transfer conveyor belt support sensor is arranged at the end of the transfer conveyor belt. A control device is provided for processing the sensors arriving data and controlling drive of the components of the feeding device. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for individual feeding of a synchronized operated drying device, particularly a drying tower; and (2) a method for group feeding of a synchronized operated drying device, particularly a drying tower.
