An electric compressor integrated with an inverter which can further promote cooling of high voltage components having high heat releasing quantity out of the components of an inverter installed in an inverter box provided integrally with the housing. In the electric compressor (1) integrated with the inverter for vehicle air conditioner where an inverter box (11) is provided integrally to the outer circumference of a housing (2) for housing an electric motor (9) and a compression mechanism, and the inverter (20) for converting DC power into three-phase AC power being supplied to the electric motor (9) is installed therein, high voltage components (21, 22) having high heat releasing quantity out of the components of the inverter (20) are arranged at positions facing the traveling direction of a vehicle (30) in the inverter box (11) under a state where the compressor is mounted on the vehicle.
