<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling in which shaft center alignment and positioning in the axial direction can be performed easily and accurately. <P>SOLUTION: For the coupling 1, flange parts of upper and lower couplings 2 and 3 are opposed each other in the axis line L and are joined. The flange part 22 of the upper coupling 2 is provided with a screw hole 24 for shaft center adjustment penetrating in the radial direction and formed, and through adjustment of the screw-in length of a set screw 7 into the screw hole 24, the shaft center alignment is performed by moving the upper and lower couplings 2 and 3 in a direction orthogonal to the axis line L. The flange part 22 has a screw hole 25 formed for adjustment of inclination, and a gap between the flange parts 22 and 31 is adjusted with the screw-in length of an inclination adjusting bolt 5, thus adjusting the inclination.
