<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate display information for expressing a map image capable of getting visibly and easily a correspondence relation between a mark and an annotation, in the map image including the plurality of marks expressing respectively a plurality of elements arranged on a map, and the annotations correlated with the respective marks and expressing information as to the element expressed by each mark. <P>SOLUTION: One out of the annotations in the map image is selected as the processing objective annotation (step S402). The overlapping of an area occupied by the processing objective annotation with an area occupied by any of the marks in the map image is determined using positional information of the marks in the map image and positional information of the processing objective annotation (step S404). The processing objective annotation is rotation-moved by a prescribed angle around the mark correlated with the processing objective annotation as the center (step S412), when the area occupied by the processing objective annotation is determined to be overlapped with the area occupied by any of the marks. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
