MATERIAL INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD FOR OUTGOING STEEL PLATE, AND MATERIAL INFORMATION USING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining material information on an outgoing steel plate over the entire length without spending much time and much labor and for providing a user with detailed massive material information through a computer and a network so that the user may use that information.

SOLUTION: On the basis of the actual rolling data in a refining rolling machine 2 arranged on the exit side of a continuous annealing line or galvanizing facilities, material prediction of a refined rolled steel plate is made to provide the user of the steel plate with the predicted material data obtained through a host computer 10 and a network. According to the material information obtained, the user can eliminate the unnecessary material portion or can change the press-working conditions of the steel plate. The user can also feed back the information to a steel plate manufacturer.
