PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent influence of axial compressive force on a steel plate-made cylinder composing a pier body, and to suppress costs. SOLUTION: The steel-made pier comprises a superstructure 11 traveled by vehicles, a horizontal girder 12 for mounting the superstructure, the pier body 13 for mounting the horizontal girder and connected to the horizontal girder, a footing 16 connected to a base part of the pier body buried underground, and a pile 17 implanted in the footing. The bearing core material 22 is erected in an interior of a pier part 21 in a state structurally broken off from the pier part 13, and one part or all of an upper part load is received by the bearing core material 22.
