摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aseismatic reinforcing structure and method for an existing building for reinforcing the building against earthquake efficiently by this method being different from a conventional construction method by transmitting horizontal load caused at an upper story to colums in a first story part of the existing building. SOLUTION: In this aseismatic reinforcing structure, a new column 6 to be constructed and a reinforcing frame 5 having a new beam 7 to be constructed are constructed on an outer side of the existing building, the new beam 7 is integrally connected with an existing beam 2, and a new column 6' to be constructed in the first story part is integrally connected with an existing column 1 in the first story part to transmit cross sectional force caused in the new column 6 on each story by the horizontal force transmitted from the existing beam 2 on each story to the corresponding new beam 7 to the new column 6' in the first story part through the new column 6 to be constructed on an upper story and transmit a part of the horizontal force generated in the existing beam 2 on each story to the existing column 1 in the first story part through the reinforcing frame 5 as cross sectional force.
