PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a rubber composition that an ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated polyene copolymer rubber is used as the raw material rubber, giving a vibration-proof material excellent in vibration-proofness and durability by crosslinking it, and to provide such a vibration-proof material obtained by crosslinking the rubber composition. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises (A) an ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated polyene copolymer rubber, (B) a natural rubber, (C) an organic peroxide, (D) an aromatic amine compound and (E) an aluminum-based inorganic compound.
