PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device eliminating the need of adjusting both of a carrying mechanism and an ink head group, in a carrying direction adjusting method when a gap is generated between a carrying direction of an image recording medium by the carrying mechanism and a carrying direction of an image recording medium by a carrying roller due to the unevenness of component accuracy of the carrying roller or mounting accuracy. SOLUTION: A head frame holding an ink head; and a driving roller 15a directly positioning the carrying mechanism carrying sheets at a position opposite to the ink head, and correcting skewing or adjusting carrying timing are held by an arm 43a extended from the head frame. By an adjusting screw, a driving bearing 44a is moved in a ring guide hole 45 formed in the arm 43a to move the driving roller 15a in a carrying direction of the sheets. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
