PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for preventing unbalance of spring force with magnetic attracting force on a coated iron plate to be a cause of requiring large force to peel a permanent magnet, in regard to a magnetic attracting device wherein the work for peeling the permanent magnet from the iron plate is compensated by a spring supporting the permanent magnet directly brought in contact with the iron plate. SOLUTION: In this magnetic attracting device, an inside frame 15 adjustable in height thereof is provided relative to an outside frame 10 brought in contact with an attracted body 1 formed from a magnetic body. Structure for locking a support spring mechanism 13 wherein a permanent magnet 12 is fitted in the other end is introduced, and in the case wherein the iron plate is coated with non-magnetic coating at t in thickness, a mechanism for changing the height of the inside frame by the same distance t is introduced so as to keep balance of the force of the permanent magnet 12 with the force of the support spring mechanism 13 independently of the coating thickness of the iron plate and a gap between the permanent magnet and the attracted body.
