PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teaching device for a robot capable of effectively performing a teaching operation for a short period of time and lessening a load for the teaching operation. SOLUTION: A tool attitude is inputted by a tool attitude input means 1025, a tool attitude automatic change means 1026 for simultaneously changing each attitude of tools by an axis operation of a position or a basic axis only of the tip of the robot at the time of a jog movement is arranged, and a redundant attitude automatic change means 1028 for changing an attitude of redundant freedom so as not to make the robot interfere with an obstacle at the time of jog movement is arranged on the basis of position information entered by an obstacle position input means 1027 when redundant freedom exists.
