PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation water treatment apparatus capable of effectively removing soiling on the surface of an ultraviolet irradiation apparatus by ultrasonic wave. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet irradiation water treatment apparatus irradiates water to be treated which is introduced into a treatment container 2 with ultraviolet ray from an ultraviolet irradiation apparatus constituted of a long ultraviolet lamp 3 of which surrounding is covered with a translucent protective tube 4, and is provided with a vibration body 7 formed annular to surround the periphery of the ultraviolet lamp 3 including the protective tube 4. An ultrasonic vibrator transducer 8 is integrally attached to the vibration body 7 and the soiling on the outer surface of the ultraviolet irradiation (outer surface of the protective tube 4) is cleaned by the ultrasonic vibration produced by the ultrasonic vibration transducer 8 and the vibration body 7 integrated therewith.
